Barron’s Educational Services, the publisher of “Little Boy Blue,” has just inked a deal with Audible.com for the audio rights to the book.

We’re told that an audiobook version of “Little Boy Blue” should be available by about October 1.

Audible.com boasts the largest selection of audiobooks available anywhere, with more than 100,000 titles. The company is owned by Amazon.com, which is the leading marketer of e-books online.

You should be able to pre-order “Little Boy Blue” soon through the Audible.com website as well as through Apple’s iTunes. Once downloaded, the audio file can be transferred to any device with a WiFi connection including iPhone, iPod, Android, BlackBerry, Kindle, and Zune. Titles also can be burned to CDs if you want to pop them into your car’s player.
